Forgive Injuries is an important Spiritual Work of Mercy, and the latest one I’ve drawn into a coloring page:

At our house we practice forgiveness quite often (probably because little kids tend to ‘injure’ each other all the time). For my little ones saying you’re sorry is the first step, and forgiving injuries is really the second step. However with adults we don’t always receive that needed apology. Either the person that has wronged you doesn’t realize it, or is unwilling to say they are sorry. In either case, it really only hurts ourselves to hold a grudge. Forgiving someone who hasn’t even asked for forgiveness is such a work of mercy!
“Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him,, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.” – Matthew 18:21-22
