Oooh, I love legends, and it really doesn’t get much better than a legend where a brave knight defeats a dragon! Today I’ve drawn a coloring page of Saint George and the Dragon.
Download the Saint George and the Dragon Coloring Page
It’s inspired by my favorite book about the hero, Saint George and the Dragon by Margaret Hodges. I just love the story and the beautiful illustrations in the book.

The intricate detailed pictures are just gorgeous.
I made my own less detailed version for your kiddos to color. The boarder of the coloring page was inspired by the book, but is filled with lilies, a sword, shield and “Saint George and the Dragon” in bubble letters for more coloring fun. I really think it turned out nicely.
Don’t forget, Saint George is one of the saints in my paper doll and saint scene sets. If you have ever thought of decorating for each Saint Feast Day, these sets could be for you. The download comes in black and white for your kids to color in themselves, and in color for you to assemble and set up for festive feast day decorations!
Thanks for visiting!
