Some of you may already know I write the blog for Catholic Schoolhouse. I often make printables that go with the timeline lesson plans, and post them week by week. This week in Language Arts, metaphors are a topic of study and I made this cute open-ended minibook called “Happiness is….” for students to practice their metaphors.
I thought I’d share it with you all. Have your kiddos fill out this cute minibook, and on days they are feeling down, pull it out to remind them of all they have to be happy about.
