I promised you coloring pages and here is the first one! There are surprisingly few coloring pages of Jesus temptation in the desert available, so of course, I drew one for you.

I don’t know exactly what form the devil took when he was tempting Jesus in the wilderness, however I know we all can recognize him as a serpent. I drew the serpent on a dead tree to symbolize Jesus conquering both evil and death.
Another little detail I put into this page is that there are 40 stones/rocks to symbolize the 40 days of Jesus’ fasting in the desert. See if your kids can count all 40.
Happy coloring!
Thanks for visiting, hope to see you tomorrow!

Thank you so much Kristen!! This page is such a gift, perfect for the Jesus tree we are starting today, with my kindergarten class!! I have other “ornaments” I have used in past years, but wanted to add text and this page, shrunk down by 50% will be colored by a student and hung on our tree…..I look forward to tomorrow’s page. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful gift with us! Blessings on your day!!
