Continue your celebration or lessons on Easter with these free printable scripture cards for the Crucifixion and Risen Christ. As Catholics, Easter isn’t over in a day, it lasts a whole season! Our homeschool co-op has been using little printable prayer cards (hopefully I’ll get around to posting more of them soon), which they color and bring to adoration each week.

(For the best results in printing, download and save to your computer. Then open using a pdf viewing program like Adobe Acrobat)
One side is a picture to color and the other is scripture to go with it. The Crucifixion card has a very commonly known verse, John 3:16 on it: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“ The Risen Christ card has John 11:25 on it: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”
The Crucifixion Christ is the same image from my Stations of the Cross coloring pages. The Risen Christ is a new image I just drew today!
Print these cards front and back, flipping along the long side of the page. Then cut on the dotted lines to end up with four front and back prayer/scripture cards. The side with scripture also has a little circle for hole punching, so you can put these on a ring for safe keeping.
Bring these cute little cards along with you to mass, adoration or just use them as a fun activity anytime.
And before I go, I just have to share this really colorful Risen Jesus by my 3 year old! So cute.
Am I crazy for letting my 3 year old use my Prismacolor Markers? yea probably.
However you use these scripture cards, I pray that they bring you closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Thanks,
Kristen
