I’m Kristen Rabideau, wife and a mother to 3. I have had an interesting career to this point. I started out in Chemical Engineering, then stayed home with my kids for 8 years raising them and homeschooling them. This year I re-entered the engineering world. All three of my kids will attend the local Catholic school, and I’m so excited for them. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend at home with them and appreciate my husband for supporting me in homeschooling and all of us on one income. Working full time is a big change for us, but I really like what I’m doing and I know my kids will have new opportunities and experiences in school. I’ve always been a supporter of “do what works best for your family’ whether that’s homeschooling, public schooling, private schooling or various combinations for various kids at different times.
I still enjoy painting and art, and crafting with my kids, so don’t worry! Drawn2BCreative isn’t going anywhere. If anything I may have more time for it since I’m no longer wearing the ‘teacher hat’ or my ‘Catholic Schoolhouse’
I have a passion for art, especially when it fills a need and makes children happy. I started this website because I believe children love coloring and should have the opportunity to color pictures that enrich their faith and lives.
Here at Drawn2BCreative, you’ll find coloring pages, activity pages and minibooks about holy people and our faith. I’ve found that my children sit still to listen to books and stories and pray as a family when they have something to keep their hands busy. Coloring pages can be a fun activity anytime, or especially during story time. And my Mini Rosary Books are an awesome tool to help children stay focused during family rosary time.
I started drawing cartoons as a kid in class, when I probably should’ve been paying attention and taking notes. Even in college, I made class bearable by drawing silly cartoons of my professors:
And I never stopped doodling. After deciding to stay home with my kiddos, I toyed at this idea to make my hobby into my ‘job’. After some encouragement from my awesome husband and some close family, I went for it and here I am with Drawn2BCreative. I pray constantly to find the plans that God has for me, and for now, it seems like illustrating and creating printables is the right way to head.
I have contributed towards the Catholic Schoolhouse books , the Catholic Schoolhouse blog, and the occasional project for Catholic Icing. I’ve created coloring pages and clip art for several other blogs and websites. I’ve illustrated several books including, The Story of Blessed Stanely Rother and The Mass Book for Catholic Children. What an awesome journey to convert to the Catholic faith and now you’re the faith formation coordinator!
You should also have the option to pay with a credit card. When you go to check out, and it takes you to a paypal log in screen, right below that log-in is the option to pay with a credit card. I hope this helps!

I love this web site. I wish it was available when my children were younger! Will you have a “Corporal Works of Mercy” Mini Book anytime soon? We have a food pantry at our church with St. Vincent DePaul Society and I would like to make it a theme with our homeschool children. They LOVE the Divine Mercy and Rosary Mini Books that we have done.

Thank you Cathy! I hope you have fun making the pinwheels. Make sure you let an adult do the part with the push-pins, so you don’t end up with too many pricked fingers! An our Lady of Fatima mini-book is a great idea! If I have time I’ll make one! I actually thought I already had a corporal works of mercy mini-book, maybe I just never posted about it. Kristen, I love you coloring pages. I am going on a mission trip to the Navajo Nation next week. We hare conducting VBS for the children. One of the Bible stories we are doing is Joseph. Hey there! I think you work looks really great! I was wondering if you would be willing to sell the Water Color Printable Mystery of the Rosary Cards as a larger file? I’m looking for a printable set of Rosary Mysteries that will be appropriate for my 2nd Grade classroom. I’m struggling to find a set that is approachable for my students without being too cartoonish (as that won’t work with our administration). Yours looks like a great fit but printing a 1/4 page won’t be big enough for a class set on the wall. Could you sell them as an 8.5 x 11? Thanks for considering!
That’s a great idea! I’ll see if I can do it somewhat quickly. All the images were originally drawn and painted as 8x11s, I just shrunk them down to make them into cards, so hopefully it shouldn’t take me too long.
I would love to purchase watercolor Rosary picture set but I don’t want to use PayPal. I can’t find a way to get to direct credit card purchase. Can you advise?

You don’t have to use paypal to purchase. When you go to check out and it opens a screen to log into paypal, look under that log in box area and it’ll have a smaller link that says pay with a debit or credit card. You can see a picture of this on my FAQ page. I hope this helps!

PS- can you create a St. Valentine saint doll (that can stand up or edges be glued into a round shape) with multiples on one page that we can give away in place of Valentine cards? I wouldn’t mind paying for that… it may be too late for this year, but perhaps next year…
