Valentines day is on it’s way here, and probably so is a Valentines day card exchange for your kids. I’ve made some cute, free printable Valentines for your kid’s parties that have some beautiful quotes from some beloved Saints.
The first is “It is love alone that gives worth to all things.” -St Theresa of Avila.
Next I have “Do small things with great love” by Saint Therese of Lisieux.
Then a saint I love “I shall spend every moment loving” by Mother Teresa.
And lastly is a quote by Saint Augustine “Since love grows within you, so beauty grows, for love is the beauty of the soul.”
These print eight to a page, simply cut along the gray lines. You can add a ‘To’ and ‘From’ if you want. It seems like the last few years of Valentines parties we just did a ‘From’ and dropped one in each of the other students’ valentines boxes or bags. It’s a little less work to just do a ‘From: [insert your child’s name]” vs adding the “To:[each kids name, and don’t misspell it!]” to each card.
Honestly, they are going to read it, eat any attached candy, and then either leave it on the floor for mom to pick up or throw it away themselves 😉 So hopefully having some free ones to print will save you a little effort and time. Simply cut apart and tape a dum-dum to the back, and you’re done!
I used watercolors to give these some fun and playful valentines themes, and added calligraphy on top. I really do love both those mediums, and hopefully I’ll find more time to paint soon 🙂
