I’m trying to keep Almsgiving in mind this whole Lent season! Not just in the beginning when we get those boxes for collecting coins. I want to make sure my little ones know that almsgiving isn’t JUST about giving money. It’s about giving of ourselves, whatever we are able to give. I know my little ones don’t have much money, so I’ve made this almsgiving cross puzzle with almsgiving tasks on each piece.
The download is two pages, the first page has the pieces with tasks written in them. The second page has the same cross with the pieces outlined on it. You can have your older kids just glue the pieces to another sheet of paper and figure out the correct placement, or have your littler kids glue the pieces onto the second page in the printable.
Almsgiving Cross Puzzle
Print the puzzle on cardstock, color and cut out the pieces. As your little ones complete each selfless act, they can glue it into the correct place on the second page. This alsmgiving activity challenges them to give of their time and talent no matter how little they are or where they are.
I hope you are having a wonderful Lenten season. Thank you for visiting!
